Alpen Gold
If you’re travelling with children, AlpenGold Hotel Davos is, without a doubt, our top recommendation. Although it isn’t located in the centre of Davos, what it offers more than makes up for its quieter setting.
The hotel’s outstanding childcare facilities are among the best in the region, making it an excellent choice for families who want to enjoy their ski holiday while knowing their children are in safe and professional hands. Parents can spend the day on the slopes, relax in the spa, or simply enjoy some well-earned time together while the little ones are entertained.

One of Hotel Grischa’s biggest advantages is that it sits directly opposite Bolgen, the largest beginner ski area in the entire Davos-Klosters ski region. Silvretta Park Hotel
This is our top recommendation if you are travelling as a larger group of skiers or with your family. The main reason is simple: Silvretta Parkhotel offers space, comfort, and facilities that make a ski holiday much easier for everyone.
The rooms and common areas are spacious, making it a great choice when travelling with children, friends, or a bigger group of riders. Families will especially appreciate the dedicated children’s playroom, giving younger guests a place to have fun while parents relax after a day on the mountain.
The location is also excellent for skiing. The hotel is only around 200 metres from the Gotschnabahn cable car, which provides direct access to the legendary Parsenn ski area connecting Klosters and Davos.
