Best lessons every with Taja. She was patient, kind and forgiving every time I ran into her. Gave personalized and unique lessons tailored to my skiing style. Even video taped... read more to show my inadequacy as well as perfect moves. My daughter used this teaching school in the past for snow boarding lessons. So glad that we used them for my skiing lessons. Reasonably priced. Private is truly private with one on one for 3 hours. Planning on returning next year and request the same school and teacher, if possible. Definitely worth the money. Had fun and learned all at the same time. Met Willy as well. Nice guy. Thank You Taja.

I spent a day-long lesson with Willy in Klosters/Parsenn and it was, bar none, the best lesson experience I have had as an experienced skier. I wanted to focus... read more on my weaknesses and Willy immediately identified areas of growth for my skiing. He spent time showing me some warm-up exercises that targeted my weaknesses, then we spent time practicing, including some video feedback about my skiing. His knowledge of where to ski in Klosters/Davos is unparalleled, and he was always able to suit the target practice to the piste. Willy's knowledge of sport science was anther highlight of the lesson and allowed us to talk theory (which I happen to love) and there was never a dull moment in the day, from the piste to the lift rides. Finally, I was a little unsure of what a six hour lesson was going to be like for me (experienced, piste only skier) but I was pleasantly surprised. I cannot recommend Willy and The Snow Experience enough. I ski all over Europe but would defo go back to Klosters just to have another lesson with Willy; he advanced my ski game in ways that will show dividends for years down the road.

Family Ski Lessons – Frequently Asked Questions
What is included in the family ski lesson?
Your family ski lesson includes a private instructor and personalised coaching for your group. Ski passes and equipment are not included, but we can help you organise both for the whole family.
Do we need to buy ski passes for the lesson?
Yes, ski passes are required to access the lifts. We can assist you with the purchase and recommend the best option based on your family’s plans and skill level.
Do you provide ski rental equipment?
Equipment is not included in the lesson price, but we can help you arrange ski rental from local shops near the slopes. Many families prefer renting on-site for convenience.
What age can children start ski lessons?
Children can start as young as 3 years old. We recommend private lessons for young children so they can learn at their own pace and feel comfortable on the snow.
Can parents and children ski together in the same lesson?
Yes. Our “Ski Together” family option is designed for families who want to learn and ski together with one instructor guiding the whole group.
What if my family has mixed ski levels?
No problem. Our “Dynamic Groups” option provides two instructors, one for kids and one for adults, so everyone progresses at their own level while still spending time together.
Are your instructors English-speaking?
Yes. We work with many international families and can provide English-speaking instructors to make the experience easy and enjoyable for everyone.
How long is a lesson?
Lessons are available as:
- Half day (3 hours)
- Full day (6 hours)
- You can also book multiple days for faster progress.
Can we change the lesson schedule if our kids get tired?
Yes. We’re flexible and can adjust times and meeting points to suit your family’s needs.
What happens if it snows heavily or the weather is bad?
We monitor weather conditions closely and adapt lessons accordingly. If the weather is too severe for safety, we will reschedule or offer an alternative activity or time slot
Do you teach snowboard families too?
Yes. We can provide snowboard lessons for children and adults, and we can also organise mixed family groups with skiing and snowboarding.
Do you offer lessons during school holidays?
Yes, and we recommend booking early, as family lessons fill up quickly during peak holiday weeks (Christmas, February half-term, Easter).
Where do we meet our instructor?
Your meeting point will be confirmed at booking and is usually at the lift station or near your hotel for maximum convenience.
Do you offer childcare or kids’ clubs?
We do not provide childcare, but we can recommend trusted local childcare services and kids’ clubs in the Davos-Klosters area.
What if my child gets tired or doesn’t want to continue?
We always prioritise the children’s comfort and enjoyment. Lessons can be shortened, paused, or rescheduled depending on how your child feels.
Can we ski with a baby or toddler?
For very young children (under 3), we recommend waiting until they are ready for skiing. However, we can suggest family-friendly activities suitable for toddlers.
Do you offer lessons for families who are not staying in Davos?
Yes. We can arrange lessons for families staying in nearby areas, but we recommend booking in advance to ensure availability.
What happens if there is bad weather?
We do not control the weather, but our instructors are trained to ski and teach safely in all conditions. In most cases, skiing can continue as planned. If conditions become unsafe (for example strong winds, or poor visibility), we will reschedule the lesson for another time or day. Your safety is our top priority.
