FAQ
Who can join private lessons?
Private lessons are open to all levels and ages — from complete beginners to advanced skiers and snowboarders. Families, children, adults, and groups of friends are all welcome. Lessons are tailored to your individual goals.
Do I need a ski pass if I am a complete beginner?
Not always. If it’s your very first time on skis or a snowboard, the lesson may start on the beginner area where a ski pass is not required. Once you are ready to use the lifts and progress to the main slopes, you will need a valid ski pass. Your instructor will let you know exactly when it’s necessary to purchase one, so you only buy it when you need it.
Where can I rent ski or snowboard equipment, and do I get a discount?
We work closely with selected rental shops across the Davos-Klosters ski areas, making it easy to pick up everything you need near your accommodation or the slopes. By booking a private lesson with us, you also receive a 10% discount on all rental gear. Your instructor can recommend the most convenient shop and help ensure you’re properly equipped for your lesson.
What is not included in the lessons?
The lesson price covers professional instruction. It does not include ski passes, rental equipment, food, or drinks. Your instructor will be happy to guide you on arranging these before your lesson.
Where do lessons take place?
Lessons are available across the Davos-Klosters ski areas. The exact location will depend on your level, the conditions, and your goals for the day. Your instructor will reach out to you to suggest the best meeting point.
How many people can join one private lesson?
Up to six people can join a private lesson. This makes it a flexible option for families or small groups who wish to learn together.
What should I bring to my lesson?
You should come with appropriate ski or snowboard equipment, warm clothing, gloves, goggles, and a valid ski pass. Helmets are strongly recommended. If needed, we can suggest rental shops in Davos.
Can lessons be adapted to different levels within one group?
Yes, instructors are experienced in adapting lessons to mixed abilities. However, for the best learning experience, it helps if participants have similar skill levels.
